My name is Ashley Marshall, and I am excited to be a part of AyzARtia! I’m a Texas girl, as I grew up in Mesquite where I attended Mesquite High School and earned my B.A. in English and my M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from Arlington Baptist College. I have two young children - a sassy 7 year old soccer star daughter and a 3 year old son who I often have to chase around during his sister’s games. Though I would love to work in fashion in New York City (or be the next Carrie Bradshaw - and have her shoe collection), I was inspired to use my talents in helping individuals succeed in every moment possible by my loving mom. I grew up highly involved in all things dance and cheer. I took that childhood passion and began teaching dance,
drill team, and cheer once I graduated high school. I also discovered a newfound love in yoga and recently decided to become a certified yoga instructor working with adults, teens, and children of all ages. When it comes to teaching, whether it’s dance or yoga, I take the approach that my students deserve the highest level of attention, time, and effort. I believe it is my job to build relationships and do everything in my power to help my students grow and mature. I want to empower them, so they can overcome anything they face in their future.
